Annually, IVSC organizes free medical screening for women and children as part of its health promotion agenda. Using sports (soccer) as a tool, IVSC mobilizes and unearths talents in community for rural development and youth development. This has attracted thousands of young people and older adults to showcase their skills, share experiences and creativity in their communities.
Annually, during the International Women’s Day (8th March), IVSC mobilizes young people in schools and communities, as agents of change. Since 2016, a competition on Gender Equality and Agricultural organized by IVSC with support from other stakeholders has stimulated students interest in agriculture and whet their appetite to ‘’Step Up’’ for gender equality. This event has been keenly witnessed by one thousand and five hundred students in the Awutu Senya District.
At the first-ever Innovations Summit organized by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research Institute in Ghana, stakeholders adopted IVSC business-model. Subsequently, Mrs. Afua Ansre (CEO of IVSC) has been sharing hands-on innovative case examples, mentoring and coaching undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Ashesi University since 2016.
